About Yi Jing Hexagrams.
Yi Jing (I Cing) hexagram is symbol composed of six lines, counted from the bottom up. Lines can be either solid (yang) or broken (yin).
Each combination of lines creates one of 64 hexagrams, each of which describes a specific stage or process in life.
Hexagrams are used for divination and interpretation of the current situation. Hexagrams reflect the hidden forces that influence our lives.
By tossing coins or yarrow stalks, or by using a program, one can draw a hexagram that corresponds to a given situation. One can then read its meaning in the Book of Changes (I Cing or Yi Jing).
Hexagrams are not only a prediction of the future, but also a guide on how to proceed in a given situation. They can help us understand the challenges we face and find the best path in given situation.
